Relationship Check-Ups
We pay more attention to the maintenance of our cars than we do to the maintenance of our relationships. We change the oil every 3000 miles, rotate the tires, and make sure all the systems are running well so that we don’t end up on the side of the road. Unfortunately, most people don’t see the need to provide maintenance to the most important relationships in their lives. But it helps! A yearly check-up with a Marriage and Family Therapist can help you identify what is going well and what needs attention in the upcoming year. This way, problems are addressed before they get big and entrenched, and lines of communication are open.
