Limited Permit Marriage and Family Therapist
Maria Corbo Logan, M.S., MFT-P
Every client has their own unique story and lived experience. I became a family therapist
because I enjoy working with people and hearing their stories. I approach therapy from a holistic
point of view by identifying and building upon my clients’ resources, strengths, and skills.
Coming to therapy is hard work. It’s important to me that my clients feel safe and supported as
we collaborate to achieve their therapy goals and overcome barriers to change.
I work with individuals, couples, and families going through life transitions. Examples include
becoming a caregiver to a new baby or parent, changing careers, being new to the area, or
grieving the loss of a loved one. I also assist families who have been cut off from one another
and/or are seeking to improve their adult relationships. Additionally, I work with couples who
may be experiencing intimacy issues, considering divorce, recovering from divorce, or planning
for retirement.
I graduated with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of
Rochester, and completed my practicum hours at Strong Family Therapy Services and Highland
Hospital in Rochester. I worked culturally diverse caseloads and completed LGBTQ+ Safe Space
Program Training.
