Limited Permit Marriage and Family Therapist
Marissa Braun, M.A., LPMFT
Our relationships and transitions in life can be challenging, and I believe we all have the capability to improve ourselves. I view therapy as a journey we can take to move forward.
I have received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and as a Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I like to provide a safe environment. I take a collaborative approach to work alongside you. As your therapist I can help you achieve the lifestyle and relationships you desire. I have experience working at Wheatfield Pediatrics, where I specialized in child and adolescent therapy. I adore working with couples because I enjoy fostering healthy relationships and rebuilding connections. I have a passion for working with relationships because I have healed and strengthened my own. I have to continue to work on myself to continuously grow, and to help others do the same in their own lives.
I’m interested in improving the dynamics of your relationships so that it does not have to define you in a negative way. I like to believe broken parts are still beautiful. In Japanese culture, there is an art of repairing broken pottery by mending the broken pieces with gold, silver or platinum. This is so that instead of hiding its flaws, we embrace and strengthen them. This is how I hope to approach healing. Choose me as your therapist and develop tools to have for the rest of your life.
